This very dated apartment required a complete refurbishment of it’s entire building fabric including all the mechanical and electrical systems. The refurbishment consisted of a complete strip out the existing interior decor but keeping the features the client chose as part of the final finished product.
Many unknowns take place during the refurbishment of older buildings and expertise is needed overcome the constraints of retro fitting the new systems into the old building. Sometimes a need to redesign during the refurbishment phase is required.
Waste management is also a big factor in the refurbishment of old buildings.
